Larry Farnese is a politician and lawyer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was born on April 26, 1949, in South Philadelphia and attended Temple University Beasley School of Law. Farnese served as a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate from 2009 to 2020, representing the 1st District. He held various committee positions, including Chair of the Communications and Technology Committee and Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee. Farnese was known for his advocacy on behalf of marriage equality, criminal justice reform, and education funding. Prior to his political career, Farnese worked as a trial lawyer and was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer from 2005 to 2008.
